Early & Often

So this is what it would sound like all those times I’m listening to Explosions In The Sky and think to myself I could do with some vocals. Not to sell Early & Often short, as the Sacramento foursome definitely lets seep in a slightly emo underbelly absent from standard post-rock that gives “No Fiction” a nice little kick. It is dramatic in the fashion of any instrument-heavy track doing its job, and Jeffrey Wright’s control of his vocals keeps them a crucial part of the build-up.
