This weekend was really excellent. Here’s a rundown:
Woodland, you guys kind of ruled shit. We played the backyard of track house for Living With Giant’s CD release and it was really fun. To the kid that licked my face that night, cherish it. Forever.
Oakland ruled for many reasons, one of the main ones being that we haven’t ever played in the East Bay before and it went really really well. The video above is from that show. Sorry about my voice, I’ve had a three week long cough that Cliff is slowly convincing me is allergies. Meh.
NAPA. Oh my god. Best night ever. Although all of E&O wasn’t able to make it, I still did a solo set and it was awesome to have it so well received by all of you. Playing at an abandoned house in the middle of a vineyard can be sketch and this definitely was not.
All around, I can explicitly repeat that everyone NEEDS to go get Nick’s new record. He preforms under the name Goodriddler and his music is beyond good enough for you to spend $5.00 (your morning fucking starbucks?) on. Additionally, Nick is one of probably 4 musicians I have met in my day that I can say are just generally in the right mindset, completely kind and wonderful people to be associated with. Expect lots more from E&O + Goodriddler!
