Sacramento’s Early & Often go for some expansive and diverse post-rock on their latest full-length. Samples and electronics aid the organic, thickly-atmosphered songs, evoking the likes of Explosions In The Sky and Moving Mountains (the latter especially in the emotionally-charged vocals). Present No Fiction remains a little raw around the edges, but the magnitude of its ideas manages to overshadow that.
